RETURN & REFUND POLICY – GIFTOTIVE

Thank you for choosing Giftotive – your personalized Print-on-Demand gift store ♥

Every single item is custom-made exclusively for you (with your photos, names, quotes, designs…). Because of this fully personalized nature, our products are considered customized goods and are exempt from standard “change of mind” return rights (including the 14-day EU Distance Selling Regulations, US FTC cooling-off period, etc.).

We only accept returns/replacements or issue refunds in cases where the mistake is clearly ours or the manufacturer’s.

1. PAYMENT METHODS

We currently accept payment only through PayPal (100% safe & secure). You can pay with:

  • Your existing PayPal account
  • Any international debit/credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover…) directly through PayPal checkout, no PayPal account required

We never store your card details.

2. HOW REFUNDS WORK (PAYPAL) WORK – IMPORTANT

  • All approved refunds are sent back instantly (within 24–48 hours) to the exact PayPal account or card used for the original purchase.
  • If you paid by card without logging into PayPal: the money first goes to a temporary PayPal account linked to your email → PayPal then automatically forwards it to your card (5–30 days depending on your bank/card issuer).
  • We cannot refund directly to bank accounts, Wise, Revolut, or any other method.
  • If you no longer have access to the email used for payment, please contact us before we process the refund.

3. ORDER TRACKING

Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with tracking number + link. Estimated timeline:

  • Production: 2–5 business days
  • Shipping: 5–17 business days (depending on destination country) Tracking info may take 24–72 hours to start updating.

4. CASES ELIGIBLE FOR FREE REPLACEMENT OR FULL REFUND

You get a brand-new replacement (free shipping both ways) or 100% refund if:

  • Printing errors (blurry, misaligned, wrong text, peeling, etc.)
  • Manufacturing defects
  • Item damaged during shipping (clear evidence required)
  • We sent the wrong design or wrong item

Conditions:

  • Report the issue within 30 days of delivery
  • Send clear photos/videos to support@giftotive.com
  • We reply & resolve within 48 hours (usually 12–24 hours)

5. CASES NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN OR REFUND

  • Change of mind, no longer want the item, ordered wrong size/color/design
  • Slight color differences caused by monitor/phone screen variations (10–20% difference is normal in DTG/sublimation printing)
  • Low-resolution or poor-quality files uploaded by customer
  • Item has been used, washed, or has perfume/sweat odor
  • Customer refuses the package or refuses to pay customs fees, causing the parcel to be returned or abandoned

6. ORDER CANCELLATION

  • Free cancellation + 100% refund within 24 hours of placing the order (before production starts)
  • After 24 hours: production has already begun → cancellation no longer possible. We will issue a 20–40% discount code for your next order instead.

7. INCORRECT OR INCOMPLETE SHIPPING ADDRESS

Customers are fully responsible for providing correct and complete delivery address.

  • Address changes are possible only within 12 hours of placing the order
  • If the package is returned to us due to wrong/incomplete address → reship fee is paid by customer, or we refund after deducting original + return shipping costs

8. CUSTOMS, DUTIES & TAXES (INTERNATIONAL ORDERS)

Import duties, taxes, VAT and customs clearance fees are the receiver’s responsibility. If you refuse to pay these fees and the parcel is returned or destroyed, we will issue a refund minus round-trip shipping costs and any additional fees incurred.

9. REFUND TIMELINE

Once approved, refunds are sent back to your PayPal/card immediately (24–48 hours). We are not responsible for currency conversion fees or bank charges.
